Henry Krauzyk - Photography

The Quahog has played an important part in both the economic and culinary aspects of New England history. The native peoples used part of its shell as a kind of currency and members of my family have made a living at harvesting this highly-valued hard-shelled clam. Quahogs also play an important part in some of my favorite local dishes. One day I was looking at a quahog shell and I thought it would be interesting to explore it with photography and present it in a way that perhaps many people have not considered before.
